New York is evacuating low-lying areas, shutting down mass transit, and preparing emergency bunkers. Smart people are evacuating when told to do so, but there are always thrill seekers and stubbon homeowners who will stay for the main event.

They say it’s not the wind in the Hurricane that kills, rather the flooding that happens as a result of it’s passing. Levies break, tides rise, and floods run down streets trapping families and cars. Don’t be stupid…if you’re in Hurricane Irene’s path, move!.
