FAA Doesn’t Want Pilot Distractions
“National Transportation Safety Board”
“Conference for Airline Pilot Professionalism”
“Excuse me, but where IS Everybody?”
“At the HOTEL BAR of course!”
“Then why are YOU here?”
“I’m still drunk from LAST Night!”
Seems many deaths and plane crashes are attributed to pilots who aren’t paying attention. Asleep at the wheel is no pastime for a commercial airline pilot who has hundreds of lives in his hands. But isn’t that why we have TWO pilots sitting up there? Sometimes even more on long flights. So how can the FAA really say crashes are the result of pilots on laptops or asleep? I thought the article was a little sketchy, but here’s the USA Today story.
