In memorial of the Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster
25 Years ago today I remember sitting in the classroom watching the first civilian in space to make history. We sat stunned, horrified and shocked when a minute into the flight, live TV covered the explosion and the end of 7 crew-members’ lives. Later that week I drew one of my first Editorial Cartoons at age 16 for the local paper. here it is, colored and reprinted for you.
And here is the Wiki on the Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster.
